Jungledisk the perfect online storage solution
Today Jungledisk finished uploading my data to Amazon S3 online storage space.
My external hard drives are getting a bit old and I noticed some glitches while using them. Now I have them in sync with the online storage. So if one fails I can always get it back.
With Jungle Disk, my important documents, client work, treasured photos, home movies, and more are now always within reach and most important of all secure. Making sure my memories don’t turn into just memories. It took me a couple of months to organize and upload everything but it is worth it. It’s interesting to see how much junk I’ve collected during the years and I needed to get rid of.
The desktop edition from Jungle Disk also works just like a disk drive on your computer. You can work directly from the network drive, or sync folders to your local disk and to other computers allowing you to have your latest files available anywhere, online or off.
I choose Amazon S3 for storage location, because they have a European data center. Amazon also copies your data to 5 different physical locations.
Next task is finding a new external drive.
